Rumi

The way of love is not
a subtle argument.

The door there
is devastation.

Birds make great sky-circles
of their freedom.
How do they learn it?

They fall, and falling,
they're given wings.

I just got a Rumi book.. just a small one, but I was in tears on the subway. I think I'm going to post one a week or something. These poems just seem to open my eyes.

This is beautiful. I have fallen time and time again. Makes me feel better somehow. I love these simple yet profound truths. Post more please :)
